Few days back, Zomato had announced that the food tech platform will sign up restaurants for its new Contactless Dining platform which will began once the lockdown ends. After Contactless Delivery, the company is now focussing on preparing restaurants post lockdown era by offering boutique of Contactless Dining services through its platform.
Joining the race is India’s leading table reservation platform Dineout, which on Monday announced country’s first end-to-end ‘contactless dining suite’ for Indian restaurants. The service will ensure that restaurants have the right seamless plug-and-play technology and sanitation requirements to support no-contact dining for the foreseeable future.
The aim is to help over 20000 restaurants to thrive post Covid-19 era, and build trust and confidence among consumers for safe dining experience. Dineout’s latest contactless dining product offers consumers an option to discover a restaurant’s safety measures, enables in-app booking of a table, pre-ordering and takeaways, in-restaurant ordering, valet services, digital payments and feedback without manual intervention.
The company will also distribute PPE equipment for restaurants with strict guidelines for operation post COVID-19. This kit includes items like sanitisers, thermometers, visor, gloves, face masks and headgears. Thus it’s a one stop solution to any restaurant looking to confidently open its doors, welcoming diners post the lockdown.
